Why I’m participating in Alpe d'HuZes?
I’m joining in Alpe d’HuZes because cancer has touched my family in different ways. We’ve seen how far research has come — some of our loved ones have benefited from it, and we’re truly grateful for that. But we’ve also felt the pain of losing someone far too soon. The loss of my father-in-law, whom my son and I never had the chance to meet, is a reminder that more research is needed.
Taking on the challenge of biking up this mountain is my way of doing something. It’s for the people we miss, for those still fighting, and for a future where cancer no longer takes lives.
