Little by little
Thanks to good doctors and a lot of luck, the cancer in my body went away. But the fear never fully leaves. It creeps back in before every check-up, with every vague ache that might be nothing, and in the long nights of waiting for results. And every time, you have to find a way to carry on.
On 3 June, I’m cycling up Alpe d’Huez for charity. For everyone who knows that fear, and hoping for a brighter day when nobody has to be afraid of bad news.
