Cargill on the move/Cargill in beweging!
On April 18th, 2026 close to 40 people came to Cargill Gouda to participate ‘Cargill on the move’ in the Netherlands. Between 7 and 10 people per group joined the cycling tour (100 km or 60 km ) or hiking tour (10 or 15 km). During the hiking tour of 15 km the Cargill Gouda Team Captain gave explanation about the area. Participants found it very interesting (this was a learning point as we should provide this opportunity to both groups next time). Hiking and biking went through the green heart of the Netherlands.
The weather was better than expected. The prediction was rain exactly during the hours that we were cycling/hiking. Again, it was better than expected and comparable with Cargill Cycling in 2022 experience. No rain, we could enjoy the nature (spring, and what is connected to the spring).
The mixed group was interesting. Cargill CBI Gouda is a new Cargill team (acquisition). It was a pleasure to have the support of this local team (gatekeeper, volunteers, Joey who was supporting AND this event, AND Roparun). BIG THANK YOU. The group was consisting of younger and experienced employees, management and people working in the field, all together).
The effort of the CAN EMEA Velddriel group, who organized the main part of the meat. BIG THANK YOU for John and Esther who organized the slaughtering. We enjoyed the BBQ, but even more the meat we took home.
Together, food, feed, bioindustries, organized and participated ...! BIG THANK YOU, to all who helped us to organize and who participated this events in the Netherlands, to help the people suffering cancer.
Voorbereidingen Cargill in Beweging
Volgende grote actie vanuit Cargill/ Provimi.
Op 18 April 2026 organiseren wij een fiets/wandel tocht voor (oud) collega's.
Vanuit de plant van Cargill Gouda Bioindustrial zijn er diverse fiets (60 & 100km) en wandelroutes (10 & 15km) uitgezet waarbij wij zoveel mogelijk geld op willen halen voor Alpe d'HuZes. Cargill Gouda Bioindustrial bestaat sinds 1858 en behoord sinds Juli 2022 bij Cargill familie.
Cargill Gouda Bioindustrial richt zich op de ontwikkeling en productie van biobased producten, waaronder grondstoffen voor coatings, lijmen en smeermiddelen. Met deze producten leveren we een belangrijke bijdrage aan een schonere en duurzamere industrie.
